The first beer that was golden in color was produced in Pilsen, in the Czech Republic in 1842. The soft local water, Saaz hops, bohemian barley and a unique triple decoction brewing process created a distinctly hoppy beer with a sweet malty balance, a flowery bouquet and an appetizingly dry finish. |
